Nunchcuks are popular tools these days used for several different purposes. Made of wood, they serve well in self defense, martial arts and combat. There are basically two wooden sticks that are connected using a rope or chain.
A great history is behind these tools or weapons. Today, I have come up with a brief explanation of these weapons. Also called nunchaku, it looks like a very odd weapon with a unique mechanism. Nunchucks were originally the agricultural tools. They were designed in such a way that they were helpful in reaping and cutting different crops. They were used by the Chinese farmers for reaping what, rice and similar crops. With the way they are designed, they can easily cut such crops.

Nunchucks served in some wars as well. Specifically, they were the primary fighting weapons when the Chinese battled the Mongols in a historic war. The Chinese used the nunchaku and managed to defeat the Mongols. This was a very important war and the win was very crucial for the Chinese.
The Martial Arts Weapon

Nunchucks are being used as self defense weapons these days. They are in fact very useful weapons to deal with the attackers. They are lethal and can cause severe injuries. Also, they provide extended reach and allow the user to stay away from the attacker. In addition, very simple to use!
The WWE Fighting Weapon
Nunchucks have appeared in the movies as well as the TV shows. In a popular TV show called WWE Raw, it was used by a wrestler in a WWE fight. So, you can understand that it is a wrestling weapon. Also, it allowed the wrestler to defeat his opponent.
Steel or Wooden Nunchucks?
In the modern days, you have both steel and wooden nunchucks. However, you have to make the decision whether you want a steel or wooden nunchaku. Both are equally handy. The purpose of using them determines which one you should choose. However, steel nunchucks are more lethal.
